Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project and construction management services for assigned scopes of work, particularly in marine environments, including value engineering and constructability input.
  • Lead weekly and monthly coordination meetings between the client and contractor's teams, track progress, and support resolution of schedule or budget challenges.
  • Oversee the design and construction of different types of marine structures and facilities as well as operations such as dredging and shore armouring.
  • Assist in the preparation of specifications and tender documents for ports and marine work packages.
  • Collaborate with contractors to implement effective workarounds for delays and cost overruns.
  • Manage Field Engineers/Inspectors and ensure timely responses to RFIs and contractor queries.
  • Coordinate construction contract changes and assist with preparation and execution of approved change orders.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams, field crew, and stakeholders to support timely progression of the projects.
  • Create and maintain project costs and schedules to support the successful completion of moderately sized projects, ensuring safety, quality, adherence to budget, and timely delivery.


Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience in marine construction or industrial industries
  • Familiar with marine design codes and standards.
  • Professional engineering designation (P.Eng. or AScT) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation complete or in progress is an asset.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and dynamic project teams.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken, suitable for a professional environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.


Compensation & Benefits

The estimated pay range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.

Please note that this range reflects base pay only and does not include the competitive bonus program or the comprehensive benefits package offered by RAM Consulting.
