Responsible for leading a team of engineers in all engineering efforts for assigned projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery while guaranteeing design compliance with all project specifications and requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for leading a team of cross-functional engineers to accomplished assigned projects
Responsible for leading all engineering efforts for a project or projects on time and budget
Review customer specifications and requirements to ensure design and development is compliant
Monitor and provide budget, cost, and schedule status for assigned projects
Communicate clearly (written and oral) with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate with program management and participate in the preparation of project proposals
Coordinate closely with engineering management to appropriately resource assigned projects
Work with technicians, support personnel, and others to align technical activities and progress
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 8 years of experience

Mastery of technologies and domain knowledge

Expected to have knowledge and experience in multiple engineering disciplines enough to lead engineers on the project team

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
