Position Overview

Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $95,000 - $130,000 per year

The Project Engineer supports the development and documentation of rotorcraft lift equipment including management of project schedules & resources, mechanical design & product development, and compliance verification on FAA and OEM programs. Responsibilities include design, testing, certification, and ongoing manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies

What You'll Do
  • Strong background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering design and integration
  • SolidWorks professional experience including parametric design.
  • Demonstrated understanding of DFM practices and GD&T for precision machining.
  • Experience building and maintaining complex project schedules using industry-standard tools such as MS Project
  • Demonstrated technical writing experience authoring FAA- and OEM-compliant documentation, including certification plans, validation and test reports, maintenance instructions, and other technical data packages.
  • Ability to facilitate and document qualification testing onsite and at external test facilities
  • Manage engineering to production transfer to ensure successful transition from development into sustained manufacturing operations.
  • Periodic travel to support project related activities


Who You Are
  • 5 - 10 years Aerospace experience

  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment (AS9100 Quality Standard or equivalent)
  • Project management experience with MS Project, Jira, or equivalent
