In acknowledgement of the significant growth and expansion that the FBM Program is experiencing - a new FBM Program Integration Directorate has been created. This new directorate is responsible for integrating and aligning all efforts, priorities, resources, and engagements across all FBM subordinate programs. The FBM Program Integration Directorate consists of 4 main pillars: Strategic Partnerships; Strategic Planning; Operational Resilience and Integration; Capability Development and Integration. This job posting will be part of the Operational Resilience and Integration team. The Operational Resilience and Integration team's vision is to coordinate synchronized operational lifecycles and drive sustained program resilience. We de-risk the program by establishing operational consistency, anticipating emerging challenges, and mitigating threats ensuring the FBM Program remains resilient and ahead of ready.
As a member of the award-winning FBM Age Management team in the FBM Program Integration directorate, you'll work on the team responsible for leading the FBM Age Management program dedicated to assessing the Trident II (D5) Flight System throughout its Lifecycle, based on calendar life degradation and functional operation from initial manufacture to removal from service. We are responsible for the engineering evaluations of age risks on the flight system assemblies, modeling technical & program risks, statistical assessments, and creating digital threads that integrate into a digital twin of the Flight System.
Key responsibilities and elements of this role will include:
• Coding and managing models & simulations that serve as Digital Twin representations of flight system hardware at various levels (System, Component, Subcomponent, Material, etc.)
• Perform Modeling & Simulation of various aging & lifecycle analyses, and synthesizing that data to drive program decision-making processes
• Improvements and maintenance of various existing models & simulations
• Technical integration across multiple cross-functional teams (engineering, production, operations, etc.)
• Completing scope that is critical to meet major project & program planning factors, milestones, and contractual deliverables
• Documentation of analyses' results and tools/models assumptions
• Presentations, statuses, and interfaces to both internal LM stakeholders, as well as Navy SSP Leadership

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
• Demonstrated experience utilizing MATLAB for engineering analyses, process modeling, and/or simulations
• Basic knowledge & understanding of engineering systems, across electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus requiring US Citizenship
Desired skills
• A Major or Minor in Computer Science/Software Engineering
• Strong MATLAB skills, developed and applied in both academic and professional projects
• Strong experience working in other programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, R, etc.)
• Experience, understanding, and application of data visualization, modeling, probabilistic & statistical assessments, and information systems (e.g., Tableau, etc.)
• Experience integrating with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, etc.)
• Familiarity with and knowledge of the FBM program and processes
• Demonstrated ability of working on a team
• Basic experience of project and/or process management skills
• Basic presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient technical and business interchanges with management and customers
• Organization and prioritization skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills to build & maintain long-lasting relationship
• Active TOP SECRET security clearance
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,600 - $139,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
