Job Description
This software quality leader will develop, modify and apply quality principles to the development and use of system/software products for the Core Processing Software team on the F-35 program. They will perform verification and validation of test equipment including hardware in the loop systems. The engineer will develop overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. They will verify the designs, implementation of software development and maintenance processes. They will also define audit strategy to ensure compliance to safety software processes. Other tasks will include evaluate and analyze software quality for deficiency identification and correction and ensure measures meet acceptable reliability standards. The individual will perform software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements. Reviews include requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. They will perform or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. They will also be responsible for producing / analyzing value, quality and speed metrics and will support release execution and verification, third party software assessments, and defect reviews. All of this will be executed across several agile teams and will include support of the teams' Program Increment planning.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience developing with the C and C++ programming languages
- Experience with safety critical software development
- Experience with Agile Methodology
- Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in a software related major, or equivalent experience/combined education
Desired skills
- Complete software lifecycle development process and test philosophies
- Experience with software pipelines
- Experience with requirements based CSCI testing
- Experience using the Python scripting language
- Atlassian Collaboration Tools (JIRA)
- Experience with configuration Management tools, such as Bitbucket
- Experience in a fast past-paced environment in technical teams across virtual environments

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
