Job DescriptionBe part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Process Solutions. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
In this role, you will report directly to our Lead Project Engineer and work from our Houston, TX location on a hybrid basis. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work onsite 100% M-F.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Schedule and Milestone execution
- Cultivate customer relationships
- Understand and implement Honeywell process control solutions
- Execute to Honeywell standards and quality systems
- Design technical specifications
- Collaborate with peers, lead engineers and managers
- Travel up to 25%, to customer sites for design, testing, commissioning, and customer training
- Build cross discipline experience
- Share technical knowledge with global engineering community
- Report project progress and technical problems
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience with industrial distributed process control systems
WE VALUE- 5 years industrial process control experience
- Experience with E&I and site installations
- Honeywell control systems experience, including Experion PKS®, TPS, TDC 3000
- Knowledge of platforms and virtualization, especially Windows server/clients and VMWare
- Knowledge of networking software and/or Cisco networks
- Knowledge of programming languages
- Knowledge of Third-party control systems including ControlLogix
- Offshore work experience
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
