Project Engineer - Maintenance & Sustaining Capital Projects

Position Summary

The Project Engineer leads maintenance, reliability, equipment replacement, and sustaining capital projects in industrial facilities. Responsibilities include project development, scope definition, estimating, engineering coordination, procurement support, construction oversight, and startup activities. This role works closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, and engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience in power generation, mineral processing, specialty chemicals, or heavy manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting outages, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
  • Knowledge of PSM, OSHA, environmental regulations, and capital project stage-gate processes.
  • Experience working with EPC firms, contractors, and owner-operator organizations.
