ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a
Project Engineer to support our client in a direct role! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, TN.
To be considered, you must have an Active or very recently active DOE "Q" Clearance or DoD "Top Secret" Clearance.Responsibilities- Plan and design through construction, testing, and final turnover.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help deliver critical systems and infrastructure support.
- Partner with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support the design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and startup of new and existing plant systems.
- Develop engineering documentation, support quality and configuration management activities, participate in field walkdowns.
- Assist with integrated testing efforts, monitor project progress and budgets.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with program requirements.
Requirements- Education & Years of Experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, and Architecture from an ABET-accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3+ years of engineering experience, preferably supporting construction or industrial projects.
- Citizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
- Clearance - To be considered, you must have an Active or very recently active DOE "Q" Clearance or DoD "Top Secret" Clearance.
- Project engineering or project management experience.
- Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering background.
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with quality programs, testing activities, and configuration management processes.
