Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a
Project Engineer opportunity in
Oak Ridge, TN at the
Y-12 National Security Complex.
Description:Provide Project Engineering support and coordination for various projects across one but not limited to:
- Commercial, Infrastructure, Production Modernization, and/or Production Stockpile projects.
- Engineering support necessary to complete planning, design and implementation of new machine tools and/or infrastructure upgrades.
- Technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to other multi-disciplined engineering teams as requested for high profile plant initiatives and will appropriately apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities.
- Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects.
- Establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules.
- Professionally coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel.
- Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.
Qualifications:- BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited school in a technical discipline
- 10 years of relevant experience

- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance. Active Q preferred.
