We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Project Engineer to join our Supply Chain Engineering team. In this role, you will lead capital equipment and facility improvement projects that drive operational excellence, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction across our manufacturing and supply chain network.
You will partner closely with Operations, Safety, Quality, Finance, and Engineering teams to manage projects from concept through execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to performance expectations. What You'll Do- Lead capital equipment and facility improvement projects from planning through implementation.
- Develop project scopes, equipment layouts, timelines, budgets, and business justifications.
- Prepare capital expenditure requests and support project approval processes.
- Manage project execution activities, including:
- Vendor selection and contractor management
- Request for proposal (RFP) and quote processes
- Purchase order creation and tracking
- Equipment installation, commissioning, and startup
- Collaborate with Operations, Safety, and Quality teams to ensure projects align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed by employees, contractors, and suppliers throughout project execution.
- Track, monitor, and communicate project progress, costs, risks, and milestones.
- Coordinate equipment and process training for plant personnel as needed.
- Ensure successful project closeout, including documentation, as-built drawings, maintenance manuals, and spare parts inventories.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Project Management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Project Management certification or formal project management training.
- Experience within manufacturing, material handling, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with capital equipment projects.
- Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities.
Technical SkillsExperience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued:
