Job Description

We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Project Development Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about driving innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Strategy
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Align project goals with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
    • Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
    • Provide technical assistance to the operating and other staff functions
  • Execution & Oversight
    • Implementation and execution of the USS employee and contractor safety and environmental compliance programs.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to assure timely and successful project delivery
    • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
    • Manage capital and cost projects, including identification of the business case, initial planning, developing scope, determining benefits and estimating cost.
    • Understand the front end loading (FEL) process to use for project development
  • Resource Allocation
    • Coordinate resources, assign tasks, and manage workloads effectively
    • Optimize team performance and ensure efficient use of assets
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Track KPIs and provide regular updates to senior leadership
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
  • Flexibility and Adaptability
    • Support Operational Excellence and continuous improvement across operations
    • Act as champion of standard work process and drive standard work implementation
    • Perform other duties as required

The base salary of $71,009 to $106,514 is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
