The Opportunity

Design What Comes Next

Join WSP's Municipal and Infrastructure team in the Lower Mainland and help shape the communities where people live, work, and thrive. Based in Langley or Vancouver, BC, you'll contribute to impactful land development and municipal infrastructure projects, working alongside industry-leading professionals to deliver innovative solutions for public and private sector clients. As a trusted advisor and technical contributor, you'll play a key role in advancing projects from planning and design through construction while building meaningful client relationships and supporting community growth.

Your Impact
  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Develop innovative solutions for roadway, water, wastewater, drainage, and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, consultants, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Support project delivery through feasibility studies, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction services.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to proposal development and participate in business development initiatives that strengthen client relationships.
  • Perform construction field reviews, reporting, and contract administration activities to support quality project execution.
  • Help shape sustainable and resilient communities throughout the Lower Mainland and beyond.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting project management, design coordination, and construction activities.
  • Knowledge of construction contract administration practices; MMCD Contract Administration accreditation is considered an asset.
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and municipal infrastructure modelling software is an asset.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with municipal governments, developers, consultants, and contractors.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
  • MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
