JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO), the Project Delivery Manager leads the execution and delivery of Bluberi's R&D gaming product portfolio and oversees Project Managers within the Project Delivery team. This role provides leadership, coaching and direction, governance oversight, and serves as a primary escalation point to provide support while maintaining visibility into portfolio health, resource capacity, delivery risks and organizational priorities. In this role, a key responsibility is to drive consistency in execution, compliance, reporting and performance across assigned R&D initiatives.
Working with Product Management, Game Studios, Engineering, QA, Compliance, Manufacturing, Commercial teams and executive leadership, the Project Delivery Manager supports the R&D delivery lifecycle from ideation to sunset, including development, certification, commercialization and sustainment, while contributing to PMO effectiveness and delivery maturity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:R&D Portfolio and Delivery Management- Oversee delivery of the R&D gaming product portfolio across concurrent initiatives and product lines.
- Monitor project health, milestones, delivery performance, resource use, and portfolio risks.
- Identify cross-project dependencies, resource conflicts, and execution constraints.
- Drive mitigation plans and executive escalations for critical delivery issues.
- Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and capacity management activities.
- Maintain visibility into portfolio status and delivery forecasts for leadership.
- Align strategic objectives, project priorities, and available organizational capacity.
Team Leadership and Development- Lead, coach, mentor and develop Project Managers within the Project Delivery team.
- Set performance expectations, development plans and career growth opportunities for Project Management team members.
- Promote consistent project management methods, governance practices, tools, and reporting standards.
- Review project execution quality, health, and adherence to PMO standards.
- Support workload balancing and resource allocation across the PM team.

Project and Program Leadership- Lead strategic, complex, cross-functional, executive-sponsored, or temporarily assigned initiatives as needed.
- Support Project Managers in resolving escalated delivery issues and aligning stakeholders throughout execution.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Governance and Lifecycle Management- Ensure projects follow lifecycle phases, governance reviews, stage-gate approvals, and readiness assessments.
- Facilitate governance forums while functional teams retain ownership of deliverables, approvals, and business decisions.
- Monitor compliance with PMO standards and operational best practices.
- Promote consistency, predictability, transparency, and continuous improvement across project execution.
Executive Reporting and Stakeholder Management- Deliver executive-level R&D portfolio reporting, forecasts, strategic updates, recommendations, and mitigation plans.
- Align priorities and delivery commitments with Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Operations leaders.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for R&D delivery conflicts and cross-functional challenges.
- Facilitate executive reviews, steering committees, governance forums, and key leadership decisions.
Risk, Issue and Change Management- Oversee portfolio-level risk, issue, assumption, and dependency management activities.
- Ensure appropriate mitigation plans are established and executed.
- Facilitate key project and product decisions through stakeholder alignment, documenting rationale, approval tracking, and decision traceability.
- Support organizational change initiatives and implementation activities.
- Escalate critical risks and delivery concerns with clear recommendations and recovery plans.
Product Lifecycle Support- Support execution across key product lifecycle phases including:
- Ideation and opportunity assessment

PMO Continuous Improvement- Drive adoption of PMO standards, metrics, templates, and best practices within the Project Delivery team.
- Support implementation and optimization of portfolio management tools and reporting solutions.
- Develop delivery KPIs, R&D portfolio metrics, and performance measurements.
- Improve organizational visibility into capacity, priorities, project health, and delivery performance.
- Lead delivery-focused improvement initiatives that enhance team effectiveness and PMO maturity.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years project, program, or portfolio management experience in a technology, gaming, software, hardware, manufacturing, or product development environment.
- 3+ years experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or supervising Project Managers or cross-functional delivery teams.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale, complex, cross-functional initiatives from ideation through delivery.
- Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects while balancing portfolio priorities, resources, risks, and delivery commitments.
- Experience working within a PMO environment with formal governance and portfolio management processes.
- Strong knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
- Experience leading executive reviews, steering committees, escalation management, and cross-functional decision-making processes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across Product Management, Engineering, QA, Compliance, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Operations teams.
- Experience managing schedules, dependencies, risks, budgets, resource planning, and executive reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to develop teams, drive accountability, and improve organizational execution.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in the casino gaming, entertainment technology, or regulated gaming industry.
- Experience leading Project Managers or PM organizations responsible for hardware and software product development.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent PM certification.
- Experience establishing or maturing PMO governance frameworks, portfolio and lifecycle management processes, supporting Stage-Gate, NPDI, PLM, commercialization initiatives.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, ServiceNow, Power BI.
- Experience working with globally distributed engineering and product organizations.
- Understanding of gaming regulations, certification processes, market requirements, manufacturing readiness, and commercialization activities.
