Title: Project Cost Management Lead
Location: Lake Jackson, TX
Additional locations may include all other US Olin locations

Salary: $99,000 - $130,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week or a 9/80
Relocation Available

Focus: The Project Cost Management Lead is responsible for translating business requirements into effective system functionality. This role will serve as both a technical authority and a strategic partner - shaping work processes, mentoring project owners, and ensuring our capital projects operate with financial accuracy and discipline.

Essential Functions:
  • Serves as cost analyst on complex capital projects and turnarounds, identifying potential cost overruns and financial risks early.
  • Build "what-if" cashflow scenarios that integrate project schedules and spending constraints to support cost-reduction or escalation strategies with minimal schedule impact.
  • Partner with project teams to ensure accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and financial governance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the SAP Project Systems SME, translate business requirements into SAP PS functionality and support system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with SAP teams to develop new logic as business strategies evolve.
  • Develop and maintain SAP training materials, cost management tools, and global work processes for project managers.

Position Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree* in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of cost management or accounting experience; chemical industry experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP SAP Project Systems, Plant Maintenance, P2P and FICO modules
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel and VBA
  • Ability to work with teams and lead decision making process
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
