Volt is immediately hiring for a Project Coordinator in Spokane, WA
Position type: Contingent, Full time
Duration: 12 month+
Onsite in Spokane, WA, hybrid schedule
As a Project Coordinator you will: - Work side-by-side with Project Managers, assisting them with all Project Management activities, in all phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure) within a technical environment
- Maintain relationships with customers and resources
- Interface with business management and staff related with projects
- Communicate project status to project groups and other business units
- Prepare project status reports and assist in presenting at monthly Steering Committee meetings
- Track and drive issues to achieve results and resolution
Job Description/requirements: - Superior communication skills (verbal and written) required
- Good understanding of the project lifecycle
- Experience with Applications projects highly desired
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost plans, etc.
- Experience managing or assisting with PM activities in all phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure) within a technical environment
- Proficient with all the Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
- Demonstrated ability to track and drive issues
- Good soft skills and an ability to deal with ambiguity
- Financial forecasting and budgeting background is highly desirable
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Prior experience with Computer Associates Clarity PPM tool a bonus
- CAPM or PMP highly desired
Pay range: $35.00- 45.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
