Project Coordinator II
Location: Providence, Rhode Island 02907

Pay Range: $38.00 - $40.00
Full Time W2 Contract 6 months with possibility of extending.
  • Role is hybrid ( 3 days on site Tuesday to Thursday and 2 days remote Monday and Friday ) in Providence, RI.

Job Description:
Job Purpose:
  • Perform tasks to ensure the timely and efficient management of capital and operational work through the engineering and design workflow process, from project inception to closeout, including in part, work package preparation, design prework, work package issuance, work modification and work process closeout.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Support creation of project work packages (including preparing project work description, research efforts of historic asset data through document storage database, developing customer report, and relevant templates) to support engineering for development and inclusion of design drawings, specifications, and relevant information.
  • Track and report on progress of capital work from inception to closeout with key focus on gas system engineering and design responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and support requests for gas facility information/documentation
  • Coordinate and support the Engineering permitting process
  • Carry out tasks for successful project closure including quality assurance
  • Provide reporting and analysis in support of closeout process
  • Support tracking and monitoring of Engineering charges and costs and processing of P.O. and invoices
Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
  • Understanding of company software applications which support work and design processes, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Additional experience in Work Management systems, , GIS Platforms (Arc Pro, ArcFM), Scan Records (Docuware), Asset Databases Customer Systems, Document Management Systems is preferred but not recommended.
  • Experience integrating the work of a functional team/business unit to enable the team to deliver high performance.
  • Demonstrates capability to work in a technical functional area and taking specific actions to enable the team to function efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrates the ability to collaborate within and across Rhode Island Energy.
  • Demonstration of a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with a diverse group of company personnel.
  • Ability to research, compile, coordinate, review, document, organize, verify data, conduct independent analysis, and identify inconsistencies

Callouts:
  • Will need to be able to get to and from work with a personal vehicle.
  • Will assist Engineers with projects; doing preliminary and backend items.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Role is hybrid ( 3 days on site Tuesday to Thursday and 2 days remote Monday and Friday ) in Providence, RI.

Pay Range: $38.00 - $40.00
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
