Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Rancho Cordova, CA office to perform a variety of project related support functions in a customer-focused civil engineering professional services environment. Project types are diverse, ranging from roadways and bridges to water/wastewater infrastructure, and require strong project management and communication skills. The Project Coordinator will support the Management Team and Project Managers with established business processes including project account set-up, invoicing, project financials, project management and other project related matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with deliverable production, monitoring budgets and schedules, marketing new projects, preparing proposals, and interfacing regularly with Clients and Project Managers. The Project Coordinator will work directly with our Management Team and support our engineering practices. The Project Coordinator must posses excellent time-management and organization skills as well have strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support Management Team, Project Managers, and other professional and technical staff.
  • Create, edit and maintain; forms, templates, reports, graphs, specifications, schedules, and correspondence in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
  • File and archive both electronic and hard copy project-related documents.
  • Routinely review, prepare, and distribute financial reports as needed.
  • Schedule meetings with customers/clients and project team members.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Associate's Degree minimum (preference for engineering or related fields)
  • Background in project support managing project schedules, budgets, and finances
  • Experience in transportation and water related project management and/or providing related consulting services is preferred.
  • Experience in project and business related accounting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
  • Ability to become proficient in company-based computer software programs and processes.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $38-$43 an hour ($80,000-$90,000 annually). Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
