Project Overview:
- Supports multiple multimillion-dollar projects in the SPS region tied to the new ERP system.
- Focus is on project lifecycle scheduling using Primavera P6.
- Running reports, meeting with PMs for schedule updates, performing risk analysis, QA on contractor submittals, and coordinating with internal departments.
- Supports a small team of 2 other Project Controls Specialists in the SPS region.
- Collaborative and supportive.
- No fieldwork required, but site visits are highly suggested for context.
- Standard daytime hours (e.g., 7:30-4:00 or 8:00-5:00).
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of project lifecycle scheduling experience
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Risk analysis and project management process knowledge
- Experience supporting large, complex projects
- Proficiency in Excel for reporting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team player mentality.
- Experience in utilities or oil/gas industries is highly desirable.
- Hands-on scheduling experience.
- Higher education is preferred but not required.
- Prefer familiarity with large-scale project environments and utility/energy sector experience (gas/oil).

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
