The Opportunity As a Project Controls FLNG Lead Planner you will have the opportunity oversee a Manager/Specialist position assigned to a role in Project Controls. This position may have supervisory/lead responsibility over a group of project controls personnel and would be responsible for overall performance management. May be responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates. Functions as a technical specialist who develops advanced concepts.
Key ResponsibilitiesManages a diverse team of professionals and able to achieve successful results/or is able to function as a technical specialist developing advanced concepts.
Planning/Scheduling:
- Leads planning and schedule preparation on more complex projects including startup planning
- Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control.
- As required by the business unit, expert in scheduling forensics.
PJC Management:
• Leads project controls team on the most complex and highest risk projects.
• Is an integral part of the management team for project success.
• Collaborates with the project management leadership team to ensure project success.
• Identifies improvements to processes.
• Leads in developing staff capabilities.
PJC Specialist:
• Recognized as an expert in a project controls specialist area.
• Develop tools, systems & processes to optimize effectiveness.
Management ResponsibilitiesSupervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications- Four-year Bachelor's degree with ten or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with twelve years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.

Preferred QualificationsPrefer Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management. Experience serving in a Leadership role for a medium- to large-sized EPC project in both Home Office and Field preferred. Prefer certificate from either PMI or AACE.
Work EnvironmentHybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
