Job Description:Parsons is looking for a talented Project Controls Specialist to join our team! In this role you will support transparent tracking of cost, schedule, progress, productivity, risk, contingency, and performance metrics across selected projects.
What You'll Be Doing- Administer project controls systems and processes and support monitoring of budget performance, commitments, and actual expenditures.
- Analyze cost and schedule variances and maintain a performance measurement baseline approved by client.
- Work with project controls and financial teams to support accurate forecasting, assess the fiscal impact of changes, and recommend cost and performance optimization actions.
- Prepare standardized project controls reports that may include earned value analysis, cost-at-completion forecasting, schedule performance metrics, productivity indicators, variance explanations, KPI dashboards, and trend analysis.
- Present project controls reports and supporting detail to project leadership as requested.
- Maintain contingency drawdown logs, performance trend logs, and forecast variance registers.
- Prepare contingency adequacy assessments that evaluate remaining contingency against risks, projected cost exposure, earned value trends, schedule trends, and KPI performance.
- Recommend adjustments to contingency, forecasts, or performance management actions based on changing project conditions.
What Required Skills You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, finance, business, or related field, or equivalent and 10+ years of related work experience.
- Experience in project controls on large capital construction programs.
- Strong knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, earned value, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.
- Ability to develop executive-level dashboards and detailed supporting analysis.
- Strong Excel and project controls systems experience.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring- Experience on EPC or CMA-delivered projects.
- Familiarity with contingency management and trend register administration.
- Experience in semiconductor, industrial, or mission-critical construction environments.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
