About the JobOur New York office is currently seeking highly skilled
Project Architects and Designers with 6-10 years of professional experience and very strong Revit capabilities. We are looking for candidates that have demonstrated experience in multi-family high-rise residential and mixed-use development.
This position provides the opportunity to take on a leadership role within your team, collaborating with senior team members on projects with a high level of design. Our practice encourages an open design dialogue and participation among all of our team members to create a vibrant and collaborative environment. We believe in nurturing the "whole architect," and offer experience in design through construction documentation and administration.
Qualifications - Professional degree in Architecture
- 6-10 years of professional experience, preferably in multi-family residential and mixed-use developments
- Revit proficiency & experience managing model and coordination with multiple consultants
- Fluency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office
- 3-D modeling and rendering experience preferred (Rhino, Enscape, Grasshopper, D5)
- Excellent graphic presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with an aptitude for team collaboration and problem solving
- Strong critical thinking skills, an ability to carry out design concept to realization
- Working knowledge of NYC building codes, zoning, ADA requirements, and other applicable standards
Responsibilities - Day-to-day coordination with project team, including consultants
- Work closely with Project Manager to bring the project from feasibility and concept design through documentation and construction administration
- Collaborate with design team in producing design documents and presentations for client and consultant meetings
- Direct and mentor junior staff
- Meet and manage client needs, in coordination with the various design team members and the construction team
Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: $85,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience
