The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experiencedProject Activation CellLeadSeniorto supportlogisticsoperations across the Indo-Pacific.The Project Activation Cell Lead Seniorserves as CACI's senior project manager responsible for leading the activation, planning, coordination, and transition of Government-directed Task Delivery Orders from receipt through execution. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this position provides leadership for rapidly organizing personnel, resources, schedules, and operational plans to ensure new requirements are executed efficiently andin accordance withcustomer expectations.

The Project Activation Cell Lead, Senior works closely with Government stakeholders, program leadership, functional managers, site leads, subcontractors, and mission partners to synchronize project startup activities,establishexecution plans, and ensure seamless integration acrosslogistics, facilities, mission support, and operational functions. This position enables rapid mission execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project risks, andmaintainingoperational readiness throughout the project activation lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead activation and startup of Government-directed Task Delivery Orders and project initiatives.

  • Develop integrated project activation plans, schedules, milestones, and execution strategies.

  • Coordinate cross-functional planning withlogistics, facilities, mission support, security, and operational teams.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project activation activities with Government customers.

  • Coordinate staffing, onboarding, resource allocation, and deployment planning for new project requirements.

  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, planning sessions, and execution reviews.

  • Monitor project startup activities to ensure schedule, cost, and performanceobjectivesare achieved.

  • Identifyproject risks and develop mitigation strategies supporting successful activation.

  • Coordinate subcontractor integration and readiness for project execution.

  • Ensure project documentation, reporting, and contractual deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

  • Support transition planning between project activation and sustained operations.

  • Prepare executive briefings, status reports, and performance metrics for program leadership.

  • Mentor project managers and project coordinators while promoting standardized project management practices.

  • Lead lessons learned, after-action reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Foster collaboration across Government, contractor, and mission partner organizations to enable successful project execution.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing Government programs, project activations, operational planning,logistics, or mission support activities.

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams responsible for project startup, transition, or operational execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to brief senior Government and military leadership on project status, risks, and execution strategies.

Desired:

  • Bachelors degree in project management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting rapid project mobilization, contingency operations, or geographically dispersed Government programs.

  • ExperienceutilizingMicrosoft Project, Microsoft 365, Power BI, SharePoint, or other project management and collaboration tools.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP,PgMP, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certifications are preferred
