Graham is actively recruiting a Project Accountant to support the Buildings Divisions. Reporting to the Operations Finance Controller, this role provides end-to-end accounting and financial support for a portfolio of building projects, including project controls, reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
Your Role in Building What Matters - From Office to Site - Project Accounting & Close - Lead transactional accounting, reconciliations, revenue recognition, accruals, and month-end close.
- Contracts, Billing & Account Receivable - Manage subtrade contracts, owner billings, Account Receivable, collections, and change order reconciliations.
- Compliance & Audits - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, contracts, tax, and regulatory requirements, lead audits.
- Financial Reporting & Cash Flow - Prepare and analyze cash flow, Account Receivable, Account Payable, and support budgets and monthly reviews.
- Operations Partnership & Process Improvement - Partner with Operations on project setup, bids, and contract administration while driving system and process improvements.
The Right Tools for the Job - Education & Credentials: Degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of relevant project accounting experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environments.
- Skills & Systems: Advanced ERP proficiency (SAP preferred), with experience supporting audits, compliance, and system/process improvements.
Compensation- Salary Range $80,000 to $100,000 per annum
