Graham is actively recruiting for a Project Controls Specialist supporting the Corporate Services Division. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Project Controls Specialist plays a key role in supporting, leading and controlling initiatives and recognizing areas of concern, providing advice to support the needs of the business. The Project Controls Specialist supports projects to follow Graham practice and optimizes the use of Project Controls tools, as well as representing the first level of escalated tickets.

Your Role in Building What Matters - From Office to Site
  • Lead project controls initiatives by identifying process and system improvement opportunities and executing assigned tasks
  • Provide expert support as the first level of escalation for Project Controls tools, service desk tickets, and software-related issues
  • Advise, train, and mentor project teams and Project Controls Coordinators on standards, tools, and best practices
  • Support accurate project execution through guidance on budgeting, cost control, scheduling, work planning, progress measurement, and document management
  • Coordinate and support system updates including testing, integrations, documentation, and rollout of new software or enhancements


The Right Tools for the Job
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in construction.Experience across multiple project controls functions (cost, schedule, planning, document management), with a strong understanding of project lifecycles and construction workflows.Software implementation or system testing experience considered an asset.
  • Software: Proficiency with MS Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required, PowerBI skills considered an asset. Experience with Project Controls software (InEight, Procore, Fieldwire, Primavera P6) and ERP Systems.
