Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management or preconstruction within commercial construction.
• Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery methods.
• Solid understanding of construction budgeting, scheduling, and processes.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%) to visit active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Keep preconstruction and design aligned, on budget, and on schedule from initial sketch to final GMP.
• Take ownership of preconstruction schedules, budgets, and deliverables from day one.
• Engage architects, engineers, estimators, and consultants to keep project objectives aligned throughout.
• Track timelines and milestones, and proactively address risks before they escalate.
• Coordinate design reviews across disciplines and provide support for feasibility studies and value engineering.
• Coordinate GMPs and lump-sum values with design-build and design-assist subcontractors.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive responsiveness and effective follow-through.
