Education:Associate degree 

Clearance and Security:Active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, required. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Citizenship:U.S. Citizenship is required.

Summary: 

This role supports the execution of complex, mission-critical aviation and national airspace initiatives within a large federal environment. The effort focuses on improving the safety, security, efficiency, and operational effectiveness of aviation systems through the delivery of modernized technology, data-driven capabilities, and enhanced program execution.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the effective administration of business operations for an office, department, or division. 

  • Supports the planning and implementation of information, business, and management projects, programs, or services. 

  • Uses discretion in organizing, analyzing, and reporting research results on a variety of subjects. 

  • Interfaces with internal/external customers and vendors to determine business or program support needs. 

  • May include billing/charge-back responsibilities. 

  • Serves as liaison between ASH representative and internal and external customers. 

  • Responsible for communicating promptly, professionally and managing expectations. 

  • Resolves client requests, questions, and provides analysis of situations. Participates in quality improvement activities. 

  • Records and analyzes trends. Develops reports as requested. 

  • Coordinates referrals to technical, professional, or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training, and follow-up. 

  • May perform property delegate functions to assist manager of accountable property to support ASH property custodians. Assists in maintaining documentation. 

  • Assures that acceptable administrative services are provided to the client within budget, on schedule and with a minimum of disruption. 

  • Carries out recurring office procedures independently. 

  • Reviews outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance with office procedures; assures that proper clearances have been obtained. 

  • Composes correspondence requiring some technical understanding.

 

Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree

  • 5 years of related experience

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Compensation: The estimated starting salary range for this position is $82,000 – $89,000, commensurate with experience.
