The Program Quality Lead for the F-15 Radar Sustainment Programs is responsible for the quality and mission assurance for emerging domestic and international sustainment programs across the F-15/US Airforce Radar Platforms.

Primary products include the F-15 APG-82 and APG-63 radars, spares, repairs, and other avionics. This position will be on-site located in El Segundo, CA and report into the Commercial Fighter Radars and Sustainment (CFiRS) area which supports sustainment activities in multiple geographic locations, including El Segundo, CA, Forest, MS, and Warner Robins, GA.

The work hours are first shift, Monday through Friday, with flexible work arrangements available.

This is an Onsite role in El Segundo, CA.

What You Will Do:
  • Implement and manage a Quality Management System and specific customer quality flow down requirements throughout the contract lifecycle and including vendor-flow-down.
  • Create or tailor existing quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to Raytheon program teams and supply base, as needed.
  • Advise multi-functional teams in problem resolution and process improvement activities, with an emphasis on six sigma, lean, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) practices.
  • Interface directly with program and, cross-functional program management, suppliers, customers, government representatives, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) partners.
  • Provide Quality technical support, including but not limited to developing build/production readiness information; Verifying all products are complete, integrated and tested; performance Acceptance Test surveillance; Control of Nonconforming Material; Utilize quality measures and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in supply base capability assessments and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Provide program direction to assure quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on time and as defined in program planning; develop Quality Planning and support business strategy planning (BOEs, LREs, EACs).
  • Conduct and/or monitor product and process assessments; including evaluating work and inspection instructions.
  • Conduct Quality Meetings and Reviews such as Corrective Action Board (CAB) and RCCA.
  • Occasional travel between the primary locations will be required.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in design, development, test, transition to production, production, or a high-reliability environment.
  • Working experience with Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 and AS9100, Configuration and Data Management, and implementation of internal and contractual quality requirements.
  • Proven experience driving and solving for root cause and implementing corrective/preventive action.
  • Working experience in material review and disposition of nonconforming material.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Academic knowledge of Earned Value Management and project management (EAC, LRE).
  • Excellent written, verbal and evaluation skills; highly computer literate in desktop computing and application programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Possess a strong process knowledge base and ability to perform quality assurance functional activities in support of programmatic, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, test and post-delivery efforts.
  • Self-motivated and able to influence, direct, and lead.
  • Experience in bidding processes and development of proposals, including but not limited to writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
  • Familiarity with the Estimate At Complete (EAC) processes.
  • Working knowledge of Failure Review Analysis Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Raytheon CORE Champion certified.
  • American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certification.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
