You will be the Program Quality Engineering Manager for our team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Program Quality Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Quality Engineers to implement and execute quality requirements for LTIAMD rate acceleration.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work cross functional to define processes to support manufacturing of tooling and test equipment to achieve nearly double production rates.
- Develop strategic plans for team growth and development for a proactive quality approach
- Engage with other functional organizations to drive process improvements and efficiencies as well as for adherence to key quality metrics
-Responsible for all aspects of Quality to support manufacturing with inputs to and from proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and sustainment. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers.
-Partners with program teams for Quality execution of design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution.
-Proficient in company policies.
-Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers.
-Establishes and manages quality budgets and cost commitments.
- Supports the delivery of monthly contractual commitments through problem solving of high-impact quality issues through reviews of technical risk assessments, evaluation of corrective actions, and documentation of customer concerns.
- Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans.
- Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher is STEM or equivalent years of experience
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Strong understanding of AS9100 and other industry quality standards
- Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
- Experience developing and driving Quality Management strategies resulting in optimal business outcomes.
- Experience with creating and implementing new processes, while effectively managing change
- Effective presentation skills and demonstrated ability to develop messages and compelling strategies resulting in cross functional teams implementing and executing innovative solutions.
Desired skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher is STEM preferred
- Previous management experience

- Demonstrated ability to evaluate opportunities, weigh trade-offs, and make timely recommendations when data is scarce or still emerging.
-Ability to iterate quickly, gather feedback, and refine decisions as more data becomes available.
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
