As a Quality Engineer III, you will play a role in the execution and oversight of quality assurance processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage comprehensive quality assurance programs. • Lead complex quality audits and assessments. • Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze quality data and drive improvements. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level quality engineers. • Develop strategies for regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to industry standards. • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate quality standards into every stage of product development. • Manage supplier quality assurance programs to ensure consistent quality standards. Qualifications You Must Have: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. • 5+ Years experience as a Quality Engineer or in a related field. • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required. • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. • Considerable knowledge of Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements. • Proficient ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures. • Proven leadership and project management experience. • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt. • Advanced knowledge of ISO9001, AS9001 standards. • Extensive experience in manufacturing and inspection. • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Qualifications We Prefer: • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry. • Advanced degree in Engineering or related field.
