JOB DESCRIPTION

Protiviti is looking for a Technology Manager to join our growing Project & Program Management team.

As a Manager, you'll partner with our clients to manage complex business and technology projects and transformations and problems and provide impactful advice and solutions. You'll develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery. You'll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Consultants and Senior Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans.

  • Digital & Application Program Management - Digital Program Strategy & Roadmap, Digital Program Management (Custom Solutions, ERP & Enterprise Applications, Industry-Specific Solutions), Program Risk Management (Assessment & Remediation), Agile-enabled Business/Enterprise Transformation
  • Program Management as a Service / Managed PM Services - Program Management as a Service (PMaaS) engagement management, measurement/oversight of managed output and managed capacity engagements, program support/operations (waterfall, agile), Infrastructure/cloud/core modernization program management, global program support and "right-shoring".
  • Working knowledge of three-tier architecture and its impact on information and security management
  • Presentation Layer (Client, web front-end, etc.)
  • Application (business logic) Layer
  • Data Layer
  • Working knowledge of network and infrastructure
  • Experience with of various database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, Access)
  • Basic knowledge of one or more development languages and SQL

  • Working knowledge of development and operations (including DevOps), process design and tools/software
  • Experience with cloud technologies including platforms, infrastructure, software, etc., as a service
  • Experience working on enterprise transformation initiatives (i.e. platform modernization and digital)
  • Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.
  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
  • Ability to translate and communicate issues or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.


Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, CIS).
  • 5+ years working in professional services and large scale business and technology project and program management roles.
  • Proficiency in project and program management tooling
  • Proficiency with multiple project and work management delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid, etc.)
  • Professional Certification such as PMP, Agile Scrum/Product Owner, SAFe or similar strongly preferred.

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
$125,000.00 - $200,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.
$140,000.00 - $224,000.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
