StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman in Patuxent River MD to support a NAVAIR PMA. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Program Analyst to provide comprehensive financial support and analysis. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Navy acquisition funding, contract structures, and program planning processes. The individual must be proactive, forward thinking, and capable of identifying emerging financial issues through participation in meetings, reviews and working groups.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of the program and can perform all functional duties independently or as part of a team.
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • High-level communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-10 years of professional experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Experience with AMS tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work PowerPoint, Outlook): specifically PowerPoint and Excel to be able to assist with Briefs, reports, and financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • High-level communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Financial, Accounting, Economics, Management or related discipline.

Allowable substitutions include:
  • Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $74,000.00 - $112,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets. Eligible part-time employees are able to participate in the 401(k) retirement plans and may be eligible for state or contract required paid time off programs.
