Full Job Description
USmax Corporation is seeking a Program Manager to support the United States Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Directorate Acquisition Logistics. The Program Manager will oversee portfolio-level acquisition and program integration, providing senior-level support to government leadership across cost, schedule, performance, and reporting domains. The role requires deep knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to standardize processes across multiple programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Integration and Oversight
    • Coordinate portfolio-wide integration of cost, schedule, and performance metrics across multiple programs.
    • Lead development and maintenance of executive-level performance dashboards and reporting tools.
    • Support cross-functional reviews to ensure alignment across technical, financial, and programmatic areas.
  • Program Acquisition Support
    • Provide analysis and recommendations throughout the acquisition lifecycle, from planning through execution.
    • Review acquisition documentation for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with government standards.
    • Identify risks and propose executable solutions to maintain program baselines.
  • Governance and Standardization
    • Develop and enforce standardized processes, templates, and reporting structures to improve efficiency and consistency.
    • Facilitate readiness reviews, milestone preparations, and leadership decision forums.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline acquisition support and reduce cycle times.
  • Executive Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Prepare senior-level briefings, read-aheads, talking points, and decision materials for government leadership.
    • Consolidate inputs from diverse stakeholders into coherent, audit-ready products.
    • Support rapid-response taskers with high-quality, accurate deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of program or project management experience supporting defense, aerospace, or federal acquisition programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance integration at the portfolio level.
  • Experience developing dashboards, executive reports, and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills with proven success in preparing senior-level materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, MS Project, and related tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • PMP or DAWIA Program Management certification highly desirable.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Air Force, or DoD acquisition organizations.

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Current DoD Secret clearance

Work Location / Schedule:
  • This position is hybrid, with regular onsite presence at Los Angeles AFB combined with telework flexibility.
