As a Program Manager, GS-0340-15, your typical work assignments may include:
- Oversees the planning, execution and governance of programs and their related projects to meet the customers' needs and the successful delivery of the programs' output/product. Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a program or project.
- Initiates actions to resolve complex issues concerning adequacy of product outcomes, and other program requirements consulting with other subject matter experts on the related discipline.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with officials of customer organizations and with other officials within S&T and within and outside the Department to plan, coordinate and manage projects.
- Develops integrated strategic plans delineating contracting strategies, key risk areas, and metrics
to measure costs, schedules, and performance. Monitors ongoing projects for compliance with
milestones and, schedules, and for identification and resolution of problems or issues of negative
impact on successful project completion.

QualificationsSpecialized Experience:You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as:
- Lead and manage major agency-wide or government-wide research and development terrorism and/or transnational organized crime programs with significant impact on organizational mission, congressional priorities, and public interests.
- Direct complex projects requiring coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders, including senior officials within the Department, customer organizations, and other federal agencies.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to ensure effective program execution and alignment with agency goals addressing transnational organized crime and terrorism.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior leadership, customer organizations, and partner agencies to facilitate collaboration and achieve program objectives.
- Oversee program performance, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure delivery of high-impact outcomes supporting the agency's mission.
