Qualifications

• Engineering degree/diploma required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer systems (MS Office, Project, Macros, Database).
• Minimum 5 years of program management and engineering experience in the automotive industry.
• Mandatory experience with injection moulding, painting, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with GD&T, ADVP&R, APQP principles and injection mold tooling required.
• Expertise in automotive exterior plastics is essential, particularly regarding bumper assemblies and related components.
• Experience launching programs with GM, Stellantis, Ford, or Toyota is necessary.
• Must hold a valid passport and be open to international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage programs from business award to production launch.
• Assemble and lead the APQP team to ensure timely and budget-compliant launches.
• Coordinate the preparation of prototype and production sample submissions.
• Ensure all quality data is submitted on schedule through quality resources.
• Facilitate production readiness for engineering resources, including facility changes and equipment installations.
• Maintain the program APQP binder and properly file all project documents.
• Participate in design and readiness reviews with customers during build events.
• Manage sub-suppliers and tooling suppliers throughout the launch process.
• Support post-launch engineering changes and prepare cost reduction proposals.
• Review programs for opportunities for continuous improvement.
