About the job

The Platforms and Devices Vendor Management Office team is the central vendor operations team supporting the Platforms and Devices Products. We partner with stakeholders across various Product Areas and provide support including but not limited to operations consulting, vendor management, operational reporting and analytics, drive cross-product area programs and help operationalize Product's goal in a compliant and scalable manner.

The goal of this team is to increase productivity of our stakeholders and bring in economies of scale, efficiency and operational diligence by deploying state of the art vendor operations and innovative AI tools.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$187,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute prioritized program work. Deliver full pieces of program plans and timelines with minimal assistance in a fast pace and tight deadline environment.
  • Deliver effective, strategic communications directed toward a variety of stakeholder groups to share information. Collate, author, and distribute high-quality snippets, and program updates using AI tools.
  • Demonstrate ease at working with data to extract insights and track key program performance. Draw interpretable insights to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify and recommend creative ways to improve operational process inefficiencies in current workflows. Be an advocate for process excellence and manage critical documentation and resources.
  • Influence stakeholders at varying levels and orchestrate the rhythm of the programs/projects, facilitate leadership meetings, and cross-functional forums by facilitating business reviews, managing agendas, and diligently tracking action items to closure.
