The Program Manager within the Skullcandy Product Development team is responsible for managing and driving the successful delivery of projects from conception through launch. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring product quality, and aligning project goals with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to achieve project goals.

Stakeholder Management
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners, to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders through regular updates and reports.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the development and production process.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including testing, validation, and compliance checks.
  • Address any quality issues or defects promptly to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Budget and Resource Management
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
