Job Description

SAIC is seeking a dynamic and innovative Program Manager (PM) to join our Surface and Aviation Solutions (SAS) team in support of the Army Navy Business Group. This role offers you the opportunity to lead and take ownership of critical program elements in a complex, multi-disciplinary, and dynamic environment. This program is poised to drive transformative advancements in electronic warfare to a multitude of government customers.

This is a Flex-Hybrid role in California, MD. Must be local to area.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for the project management of level of effort (LOE) type task orders for the Navy Business Group
  • Assist Program Manager and work closely with project stakeholders and Government customers on all project costs, schedules, and performance issues that impact customer or contract requirements.
  • Assists in the coordination of technical efforts and provides authorization for all project related expenditures to include personnel labor, travel, ODCs, and material purchases.
  • Manages fiscal year operational budgets using customer spend-plans, prime and subcontractor quotes, BOE's, EACs, and internal financial reporting systems.
  • Prepares project deliverables (CDRLs) and financial reports for internal and customer project reviews and develops action plans and briefs for project status meetings.
  • Adheres to all corporate financial and accounting policies and Government regulations applicable to the contract.
  • Management and review of program execution required to meet or exceed performance work statement (PWS) requirements for technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance; perform hiring, supervision, and performance assessments
  • Support process improvement and innovation, adapt proven and effective practices to identify impediments and/or mitigate risks to effective program execution, ensure effective communication and collaboration across the team
  • Identify opportunities to leverage corporate staff, processes or tools and ensure the proper collection of metrics to measure execution effectiveness
  • Assist in managing program scope, deliverables, KPIs, and success criteria in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; master's and thirteen (13) years or more experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Proficient at developing and managing financial budgets.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable in all phases of the program management life cycle.

Desired Skills:
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
  • Previous Program Management experience supporting the DOD.
