The Red Gate Group is seeking a Program Manager to support a non-personal services contract providing Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Engineering and Technical Support (RETS) to the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (USW(R&E)). In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to advancing the Department of War's research, engineering, and technology innovation priorities by supporting key initiatives across science and technology, mission capabilities, and commercial technology integration. This effort supports senior leadership in driving cutting-edge research, prototyping, experimentation, and technology transition to maintain a strategic advantage for the joint force. Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale research, engineering, and technology development efforts supporting defense priorities.
Provide executive-level program leadership for major technology programs or portfolios exceeding $100M in value, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
Manage the full lifecycle of technology initiatives, including design, development, manufacturing, integration, and testing.
Oversee and coordinate diverse portfolios of advanced technology programs, ensuring performance, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

Requirements

Ten (10) years of experience managing, planning, developing, and executing major research, engineering, and development efforts for defense organizations.
Ten (10) years of experience serving as a lead or deputy Program Manager for major technology programs or portfolios valued at $100M or more.
Demonstrated expertise in managing the full lifecycle of technology development, including design, manufacturing, integration, and testing.
Proven experience managing portfolios of diverse technology development programs.
Five (5) years of experience and foundational knowledge in Electromagnetics and Radio Frequencies.
Five (5) years of experience operating within classified environments, including SAP and SCI programs.
Five (5) years of experience with the Defense Acquisition System (DoD 5000 series).
Demonstrated knowledge of Department of War organizational structure and experience collaborating with R&E program managers.
Ten (10) years of experience in written and verbal communication, including briefing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
