Full Job Description
Qualis LLC is seeking a Program Manager. This role will provide overall programmatic, technical, and operational leadership for NASA engineering services support at Kennedy Space Center (KSC). The PM serves as the Contractor's primary interface with NASA and is responsible for successful execution of mission-direct support, spacecraft fleet management, integrated system performance, and exploratory concepts supporting end-to-end transportation of cargo, payloads, and Moon Base elements to the Moon and other deep-space destinations.

Essential Duties
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary systems engineering, mission operations, mission analysis, integration, and technical support teams in accordance with contract cost, schedule, technical, quality, and staffing requirements.
  • Direct systems engineering and integration activities spanning launch site operations, launch vehicles, orbital transfer vehicles (OTVs), logistics vehicles, spacecraft, payload/cargo integration, ground systems, and mission operations.
  • Lead Contractor support for NASA insight and surveillance of end-to-end service Providers, including technical interactions, documentation reviews, meetings, design reviews, tests, demonstrations, compliance evaluations, and mission operations observation.
  • Ensure technical assessments provide NASA with the information required to make informed concur/non-concur decisions regarding Provider actions, performance, requirements compliance, verification, and mission readiness.
  • Direct investigation and resolution of technical issues affecting individual missions, spacecraft fleets, or shared hardware and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future missions.
  • Develop and maintain staffing, resource, transition, and retention strategies to ensure sustained access to qualified aerospace and space-systems expertise.
  • Provide senior-level technical and programmatic recommendations to NASA leadership and translate complex engineering issues into actionable decisions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace, systems engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, computer science, or related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of aerospace/space systems experience, including 10+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams supporting complex spacecraft, launch, transportation, or mission operations programs.
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering, systems-of-systems integration, requirements management, verification and validation, technical risk management, and configuration management.
  • Experience with spacecraft, launch vehicles, OTVs, logistics transportation systems, payload integration, ground systems, and/or mission operations.
  • Experience supporting NASA, commercial space providers, or other Government space organizations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, briefing, analytical, and customer-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct experience supporting NASA lunar, Artemis, commercial lunar transportation, or deep-space programs.
  • Experience with commercial space transportation/service-provider models.
  • Experience with spacecraft fleet management, common-hardware assessments, and mission readiness.
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Engineering Management.
