Full Job Description
Eaton's ARS division is seeking a Program Manager - New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead delivery of strategic product initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in Fayetteville, NC. Candidates may reside in Raleigh, NC metro area, with regular onsite presence required in Fayetteville. Relocation assistance is available.

Reporting to the PMO Manager, our Program Manager - New Product Introduction is responsible for management of new product development for Low voltage Motor Control Centers (MCC) and Power Factor Correction Assemblies. This role will manage the project planning, execution, scope, budget, risk, and issue tracking. This will include the use of a phase-gate process, Design and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA's), Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP), SIOP input, and industrialization. In addition, this role will assist engineering in product transitioning.

Essential Functions:

Program Leadership
• Lead cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to deliver NPI programs from concept through launch
• Own program execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk
• Drive alignment to Voice of Customer (VOC) and manage scope changes and tradeoffs
• Hold full Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability (RAA) for program delivery, including P&L ownership
• Partner across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure readiness for launch

Execution & Governance
• Apply structured PROLaunch / phase-gate methodology across the full product development lifecycle
• Develop, manage, and drive program schedules to support on time delivery
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies; lead mitigation strategies
• Utilize tools and methods including FMEA, DFSS, Design for Manufacturing, and industrialization planning
• Ensure adherence to standard PM processes and performance tracking

Reporting & Communication
• Deliver clear, concise Program Status Reports (Green/Yellow/Red) for leadership addressing milestones, risks, issues, and other program KPIs.
• Track and report on key metrics: schedule, cost, quality, and technical performance
• Lead program reviews and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders

Portfolio & Planning
• Support annual product roadmap development and portfolio planning
• Contribute to business case development and proposal evaluations
• Serve as a PROLaunch champion, driving best practices, training, and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of experience leading or supporting NPI programs using stage-gate processes
• 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following functional areas: PMO, Engineering, Manufacturing, OPEX/CI, Supply Chain, or Quality
• PMP certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire)

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
• Experience with power distribution equipment (engineering, manufacturing, or commercial)
• Experience in an engineered-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environment
