  • You will serve as the program manager for an entire project throughout the organization and manage project requirements, objectives, and metrics.
  • You will provide policy guidance to action officers and technical experts and serve as the final technical authority for the organization.
  • You will exercise discretion and judgment in determining whether to broaden or narrow the scope of projects.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05 (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:

1. Leading multi-disciplined Integrated Product Teams to plan, budget, and execute acquisition and sustainment efforts of Support Equipment (SE) for major programs or platforms.

2. Assuring proper execution by coordinating with and leading multi-disciplinary, cross-site teams, including program offices, other NAVAIR Departments, warfighter stakeholders, contractors, and/or other government activities.

3. Managing program risks, issues, and opportunities, and representing the SE program during leadership reviews with senior leadership at key program milestones and events.

4. Planning, leading, and managing all resources for Support Equipment efforts, including executing contract requirements and fielding assets for domestic and/or security cooperation (international) customers.

5. Developing and implementing program policies, resolving critical issues related to policy application, and providing project direction for the overall program.
