The Program Manager, Marketing is an experienced individual contributors. While they do not manage NM staff, they manage large projects and outside vendors. They work directly with senior internal clients. They report to a Program Director or Director.
The Program Manager, Marketing is responsible for supporting their Director and other Marketing team members within team/project objectives. They are an expert in their specific discipline and understands how their specific skills contribute for maximum impact. The Program Manager, Marketing knows current technology that is relevant to the position to optimize workflow and maximize output. They have strong communication skills, judgment and are able to lead multi-functional teams.
The Program Manager, Marketing supports the Director in the management and progression of key initiatives. They understand the scope and objectives of initiatives and delivers against those objectives. The Program Manager, Marketing is an experienced individual contributor. While they do not manage NM staff, they manage large high-level projects, multi-functional teams and a wide range of outside vendors. The Program Manager, Marketing work directly with senior internal clients. They help their director define the objectives and strategies that guide their team. Responsibilities include:
- Leads development of integrated marketing plans and/or complex marketing materials.
- Builds strong internal client relationships by anticipating and understanding client needs, delivering high quality plans and effectively managing feedback.
- Effectively manages outside vendors/suppliers and multi-functional groups.
- Able to effectively brief teams, divide and assign responsibilities, and ensure teams deliver on brief, time, and budget.
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years additional experience in a relevant field.
- Experience managing relationships with outside vendors.
Preferred:- Experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in a hospital setting, and/or agency experience.
- Experience managing direct reports/outside vendors.
