Job DetailsAs a Program Manager IV with Graduate Medical Education, you will manage diverse projects, identify process improvements, and enhance departmental efficiency and cohesion to support many of the training and education programs Cleveland Clinic offers to a global audience of healthcare professionals, including physicians, medical students, residents, fellows, health professions students and caregivers, and more. This is a rewarding opportunity that offers exposure to various specialties and potential growth within and beyond the team.
A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 am. - 5:00 pm. After the successful completion of the training period, this position offers a hybrid schedule requiring in-person attendance at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus one day per week.A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities.
- Serve as a liaison at all levels of the organization and outside community.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines and allocate time to meet completion requirements.
- Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
- Review and monitor adherence to Enterprise Human Resources policies, corporate compliance procedures, and the Graduate Physicians Manual.
- Manage the Enterprise GME SharePoint site.
- Guide project management for cross functional teams within GME, including off-boarding for departing trainees
- Oversee timekeeping and scheduling of GME caregiver office hours
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Six years of related experience
- A Master's degree in a relevant field may offset one year of the experience requirement
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Master's degree
- Related experience in a healthcare setting
- GME/Education background
Physical Requirements:- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information.
Personal Protective Equipment:- Follows standard procedures regarding personal protective equipment.
