Job Title:

Program Manager III/ Program Quality Engineer

Location:

Culver City, California

Job Type:

Full-time, 6-month On-Going Contract, W2

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, Hybrid - 3 days Onsite

Pay Range:

$79.07 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Support new programs in development by establishing quality systems, measurement methods, and analyzing build results to ensure products meet design specifications.
  • Analyze build data to confirm process capability and identify areas requiring attention from Product Design and Process Engineering.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to resolve issues through data-driven Failure Analysis and Corrective Action (FACA).
  • Establish new methods for monitoring and reporting quality status, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT).
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned across manufacturing sites and products.
  • Succinctly communicate key updates to senior management and executive teams.

Requirements
  • Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
  • High-volume manufacturing experience with a detailed understanding of advanced product quality planning, production processes, testing, kitting, and packaging.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, metrology, and measurement equipment and techniques.
  • Experience with statistical techniques including SPC, AQL sampling, Measurement System Analysis (GR&R), and process capability (Cpk).
  • Ability to evaluate cosmetic defects and establish cosmetic specifications with Product Design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions under stringent deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to drive issues to closure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI/ML tools to assist with data analysis and workflow optimization.
  • Experience building tools to simplify processes and reporting.
  • Experience with automated inspection systems.
  • Experience supporting consumer electronics, automotive, medical device, or other high-volume manufacturing environments

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
