Full Job Description
Program Manager III Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Key job responsibilities - Define and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cross-functional programs, including mission, vision, objectives, and success criteria, while driving alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders. - Analyze data to identify trends, measure program health, and drive improvements - proactively surfacing risks and proposing mitigations before they become roadblocks. - Author clear, well-structured narratives (such as six-page documents and status reports) to communicate program strategy, trade-offs, and progress to directors and vice presidents. - Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to prioritize work, resolve dependencies, and ensure delivery milestones are met with the right quality and on schedule. - Streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies by identifying automation opportunities, reducing unnecessary handoffs, and simplifying workflows to accelerate program outcomes. A day in the life You might start your morning reviewing program metrics dashboards, then shift into a working session where you facilitate a crisp decision among cross-functional partners with competing priorities. After lunch, you could be drafting a narrative that frames a complex trade-off for senior leadership, followed by a deep-dive with an engineering team to unblock a critical dependency. Throughout it all, you stay connected to the details while keeping the broader strategic picture in focus. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Knowledge of general AI tools - Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
