About the job

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager within Machine Operations and Deployment Engineering (MODE), you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on deploying Google's next-generation ML and non-ML infrastructure at scale. You will define requirements with internal customers like engineering and product teams, and usher projects through the entire lifecycle, from planning to execution in our global data centers. You will manage project schedules, proactively identify risks to on-time capacity delivery, and clearly communicate goals and status to key stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, requiring you to keep all players coordinated on progress and deadlines to ultimately land critical capacity for Google's services.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) 15% bonus target equity benefits

  • Analyze systemic trends and build automated reporting to identify opportunities to improve deployment velocity, cycle times, and throughput.
  • Partner with deployment-critical systems and software teams in order to drive requirements and roadmap delivery that meets the fleet's needs.
  • Drive business-critical programs that support the accelerated delivery of machines at the data centers.
