What You Will Do:
We are looking for a Program Manager to support day-to-day research operations, program execution, and scientific administration within the Division of Preclinical Innovation (DPI). This position is a full-time position located in Rockville, MD.
  • Provide operational oversight and tracking of DPI research projects, including:
    • Monthly status and budget reporting
    • Meeting-minute documentation
    • Presentation summary updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the compilation, analysis, and organization of scientific and program data, including data analysis support.
  • Develop internal and external communications such as reports, summaries, emails, and website content.
  • Develop periodic and special reports, procedures, and reference materials using internal and external information sources.
  • Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary research team meetings and functions.
  • Prepare briefing materials and summaries for meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  • Take, compile, organize, and edit comprehensive meeting notes and reports.
  • Plan, organize, and support technical meetings and consultations to advance scientific research initiatives.
  • Review short- and long-range planning proposals to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with staff to plan and implement project-based activities, including:
    • Workshop planning
    • Resource evaluation
    • Communication strategy development
    • Report writing and editing


What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience in extensive administrative, program, and project support experience.
  • Experience supporting operational workflows such as purchasing, communications coordination, documentation compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Demonstrated program management and strategic operational leadership, including:
    • Cross-functional coordination
    • Timeline oversight
    • SOP development
    • Process improvement execution
  • Experience developing SOPs, communication resources, leadership briefings, and reports.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and executive support experience.
  • Advanced documentation, presentation, and writing skills, including technical and executive communications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian tools, Adobe tools, and/or federal administrative systems.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail and compliance.
  • Strong collaboration, engagement, and professional communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must receive approved adjudication prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred.


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Experience supporting scientific or research-focused programs.
  • Familiarity with federal research environments or Division of Preclinical Innovation (DPI)-type organizations.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$108,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
