The Program Manager acts as a strategic connector between US regional needs and global competency leads in Veldhoven, partnering closely with the Regional Business Continuity Lead, Legal, Procurement, Risk & Compliance, and site leadership. This role ensures that global frameworks are translated into practical US processes, supported with strong governance, analytics, and consistent stakeholder engagement.

Role and responsibilities

Stakeholder Management (Suppliers & Regional Business Leaders)
  • Serve as the primary US contact for ESG and Contract Management activities, while supporting Risk and Business Continuity program components as needed.
  • Partner with supplier-facing teams (e.g., Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Account Leads) to embed ESG expectations, contract compliance requirements, and risk controls into supplier engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with US site leadership, regional competency leads, and global stakeholders to align priorities, identify risks, and coordinate execution.
  • Facilitate cross-site communication and ensure consistent implementation of the broader ESG, Risk, BC, and Contract Management program.
  • Represent US regional needs in global forums, ensuring the US voice is integrated into global processes, tools, and maturity expectations.

Content Expertise (ESG & Contract Management - Primary Focus)
  • Lead the practical execution of ESG deliverables including supplier assessments, due-diligence activities, data collection, maturity scoring, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Translate global ESG and Contract Management frameworks into actionable US processes, templates, governance routines, and compliance workflows.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging US and global regulations (e.g., CSRD, SEC climate rule, human rights due diligence, ESG disclosure expectations) and advise stakeholders on required readiness steps.
  • Conduct assessments and support compliance checks related to contract obligations, ESG requirements, operational resilience, and supplier practices.
  • Provide subject matter guidance to business partners in Procurement, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Sustainability, and Business Continuity.

Program Management (Across ESG, Risk, BC & Contract Management)
  • Support the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of the US-wide program across ESG, Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Contract Management.
  • Develop "means & methods" including program documentation, governance structures, templates, tools, and standard operating procedures to enable consistent execution across sites.
  • Coordinate with global competency leads in Veldhoven to align deliverables, maturity expectations, and reporting structures.
  • Lead ESG and Contract Management program analytics, including dashboards, KPI reporting, supplier risk insights, and maturity scoring.
  • Analyze data from all four competency areas to identify trends, highlight risks, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare leadership updates, cross-site briefings, and executive summaries capturing progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps.

Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Risk Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ESG, Responsible Sourcing, Supplier Engagement, Contract Management, Risk Management, sustainability management, compliance, or supplier-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and disclosure expectations.
  • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage internal leaders, global counterparts, and external suppliers.

Skills

  • Team player, collaborate, positive, proactive, critical and innovative
  • Plan, align, drives results and ensures accountability while balances stakeholders
  • Self-development, and values differences
