Program Manager
Hybrid (Must report onsite as needed)

Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for a Program Manager to successfully direct, control, administer, and regulate the modernization and re-write of a software application based on .NET technology. The Program Manager's primary responsibility is to drive the entire software re-write from start to finish and ensure the final product meets the business, technical, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Design project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.
  • Require a thorough knowledge of project management methodology and approaches to incorporate sufficient collaboration, transparency, and feedback loops. Ensure that proper project management processes are followed.
  • Be responsible for the development, adjustment, and revision of estimates in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
  • Utilize risk and scope management to define, monitor, and control scope, budget, and timelines, especially in high-risk modernization scenarios.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal skills to keep sponsors, developers, operations, and end users aligned and informed of program management metrics.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address technical debt, integration challenges, and unforeseen dependencies.
  • Notify team leaders of project timelines, milestones, phases, work requests, target dates, and approved executable work packages.
  • Require an understanding of application architecture, refactoring, re-architecting, or rebuilding strategies.
  • Analyze legacy systems and integration points to determine modernization paths.

Requirements:
