ResponsibilitiesThe Program Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional strategic programs across the product development and commercialization lifecycle. This role serves as the primary coordinator and integrator across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial functions to ensure programs achieve key milestones and business objectives.
The Program Manager drives execution through planning, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and decision facilitation. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational leadership, business acumen, and the ability to drive progress through influence rather than direct authority.
Key Responsibilities- Define and align program objectives, scope, milestones, and success criteria with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, critical paths, and risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate execution across development, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, marketing, and commercial functions.
- Drive accountability for key deliverables, timelines, and decisions across cross-functional teams.
- Identify, assess, and escalate program risks, resource constraints, and execution challenges.
- Facilitate program governance meetings, cross-functional reviews, and decision-making forums.
- Track program performance through operational, financial, and strategic metrics.
- Partner with Finance and functional leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, business case development, and resource planning.
- Prepare executive-level communications, status updates, recommendations, and program dashboards.
- Support commercialization readiness activities, launch planning, manufacturing transfer, and operational scale-up efforts.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with external partners, suppliers, and development organizations when applicable.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Requires a minimum 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent education and experience; Or 6+ years and a Master's degree; Or a PhD with 3+ years experience; or equivalent experience.Where required, the role must hold an appropriate degree in the industry (eg. Legal)
Preferred Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to independently manage programs through development, transfer, launch, commercialization, or operational implementation.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and driving execution without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Smartsheet, MS Project, or related program management tools.
Preferred:- Experience in medical device or other regulated industries.
- Experience with product development, regulatory submissions, clinical studies, manufacturing transfer, commercialization, or launch activities.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management certification.
- Experience supporting business case development, portfolio reviews, or investment planning activities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Quality, and Regulatory teams.

Pay / CompensationThe expected pre-tax pay rate for this position is $115,000 - $200,050 per year. Actual pay may fluctuate outside of the listed range depending on skills, education, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
